As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with patients, staff, and guests while delivering a high level of customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to clinical staff, management, and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Monitor access points and public areas, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence.

Complete required security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations accurately, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
