As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Bellingham, WA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, financial location policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or disruptions involving employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.

Support assigned banking operations by observing for unusual activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders for security-related incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience is required.

CPR certification is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
