As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff and visitors with directions and customer service, communicate clearly over radio and in reports, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, offices, loading areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions that could help to deter unwanted activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor entry procedures, and maintaining logs and/or reports in accordance with site requirements.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, reporting maintenance concerns and completing accurate shift reports, incident reports, and/or other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be 21+ years of age.

Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
