The Food for Kids (FFK) Representative assists with overall operational and logistical functions related to Food Bank of the Rockies' kids' meals programs: Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and Totes of Hope . It works collaboratively with the Kitchen, Transportation, and Operations teams to organize and fulfill meal service and programmatic needs.
This position is instrumental to
advance the work of Food Bank of the Rockies to connect with Hunger Relief Partners to forge community-based, neighbor-centered hunger relief systems that both nourish those experiencing hunger and address the root causes of hunger.

Primary Responsibilities:
Operations:**
Responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with all CACFP/SFSP/Totes sites, providing excellent customer service through email, phone, and in-person visits
Work in collaboration with Food Bank of the Rockies' Kitchen, Operations, Sourcing, and Transportation teams, and outside meal vendors to ensure timely and detailed communication of program needs and procedures for new and existing sites
Work with Nutrition Manager as needed to ensure meals or product offered include a variety of HER ratings when possible and follow any compliance requirements
Perform site monitor duties, develop and maintain site visit schedules for reviews and visits, and complete all the required documentation to ensure compliance with CACFP/SFSP/Totes
Assist FFK Supervisor in collecting and organizing data and records by processing required paperwork for program including applications and site visits to ensure accuracy and completeness. Reporting any findings to Supervisor
Communicate with sites regarding any changes to their program and ongoing communication with relevant departments to ensure information is as current as possible. Send updated forms or other necessary documents to sites as needed
Ensure that all site visits/reviews are conducted promptly, are correctly documented and filed, and updated in the tracking spreadsheet
Ensure all procedures are followed in accordance with the CACFP /SFSP/Totes compliance standards
Provide annual required trainings for partner site staff. With assistance from the FFK Administrative Assistant, monitor sites' regular usage, completion, and compliance of Link2Feed meal counts and resolve issues as they arise
Track all agencies for completion of training and compliance. Send out reminders and instructions as needed
Collect client or partner stories while attending meal services
Collaborate with FFK Administrative Assistant and Supervisor in tracking and updating Programs' stat/goal sheet/grants with monthly meal distributions
Collaborate with FFK Supervisor and Manager in doing outreach for potential new sites Recruiting new sites may include attending a variety of meetings with schools or other potential partners, making phone calls, and/or sending emails
Assist FFK administrative team with cross-over functions as necessary
Support Western Slope Distribution center with FFK programming

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous customer service experience
Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies required
Experience using collaborative tools for file storage and sharing, meeting scheduling, and virtual collaboration preferred
Must have a valid driver's license
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a non-exempt full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week. Work schedules may vary each week and is typically Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings & Saturdays for special events. A flexible work schedule is available with the option to work remotely from Colorado. In-person work is required a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week, or more often based on organizational need. Local travel only, up to 50% of the time.
