POSITION: Bookkeeper

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Due to the nature of work performed within our facility, United States Citizenship is required.

Massa Products Corporation, a leading manufacturer with a high volume of vendors and invoices, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Accounting Team. In this role, you'll handle all aspects of Accounts Payable and oversee daily labor reporting for approximately 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, collaborate effectively with other departments to align accounting data with business operations, and be a self-starter who is proactive, patient, possesses a strong work ethic, good people skills, is well-organized and neat, and has exceptional attention to detail.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Accounts Payable:

Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including high-volume invoice data entry for numerous vendors.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Obtain invoice approvals and enter data into proprietary ERP system (or equivalent systems).

Verify expense reports and ensure compliance.

Process weekly check runs, with a key focus on transitioning the department from paper checks to ACH payments for improved efficiency.

Assist with audits, including pulling documentation and supporting reviews.

Perform extensive filing and scanning of invoices to maintain organized digital and physical records.

Daily Labor Responsibilities:

Oversee labor reporting for ~100 employees, ensuring daily time entries are accurate and approved by 9 a.m.

Process, prepare, and post daily labor reports.

Match paid time off records in the ERP system to the ADP payroll system.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including support for financial statement preparation.

Additional Responsibilities:

Serve as backup for the Sales Support Administrator, providing cross-functional support as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

3+ years of experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume invoice environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).

Strong proficiency in English, both written and oral.
