Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join a large construction company in Durham, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to critical project operations while ensuring smooth administrative workflows. The role involves supporting project managers and field staff, managing vendor communications, and handling essential reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-volume data entry tasks, including processing invoices and receipts with accuracy.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to project managers and on-site employees.

Act as a primary point of contact between vendors and project managers to facilitate smooth communication.

Prepare and manage detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, including working with pivot tables, for submission to the corporate office.

Utilize cloud-based software and internet tools to streamline administrative processes.

Maintain organized records and ensure timely updates to project documentation.

Assist in coordinating office operations within a construction site environment.

Uphold effective communication channels across teams to ensure project success. Requirements - Proficiency in working with cloud-based software and internet tools.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Comfort working in a construction site environment, including job trailers.

Availability to work fixed hours daily with a half-hour lunch, and flexibility for weekly overtime.

Typing speed of 45-60 words per minute for efficient data entry.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and multi-line phone systems.

Experience in creating expense reports and generating detailed documentation. TalentMatch®
