As a Security Officer - Large Construction Site Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Day Time

Mon04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Fri04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Sat04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Sun04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or escalating concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and/or assist with visitor and employee screening procedures in accordance with location policies.

Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with staff and visitors, and/or preparing accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
