Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Administrative Assistant (Expediter Support) positions in Newport News, VA. Perks:

· Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

· Weekly paycheck

· Pay: $26.07 per hour

Responsibilities:

· Track inbound domestic and international shipments, monitor delivery milestones, and update ETA changes in ERP and tracking systems.

· Communicate shipment status, delays, and priorities to buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.

· Review and organize shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading to support import compliance.

· Maintain Excel-based tracking documentation, pull data from shipment platforms, and identify gaps requiring follow-up.

Requirements:

· 1-3 years of experience in expediting, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or import operations.

· Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, IF statements, concatenation, and formula building.

· Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple ongoing shipments.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organized and accurate records.

Pay Details: $26.07 per hour
