Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance environment, focusing on essential accounting operations and ensuring compliance with company standards. As part of a Long-term Contract position, you will play a vital role in financial processes, gaining exposure to various aspects of accounting and supporting organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead key components of the month-end close process, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Prepare and record journal entries with thorough documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.

Analyze general ledger activities, identifying variances and preparing detailed explanations for management review.

Ensure adherence to organizational controls, policies, and accounting procedures.

Assist in preparing audit documentation and responding to both internal and external audit requests.

Support initiatives aimed at improving, standardizing, and automating accounting processes.

Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to address accounting challenges and enhance financial workflows.

Contribute to special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as required. Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to detail.

Strong expertise in month-end close processes, including general ledger management and journal entries.

Proficiency in conducting account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion required

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.

Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.

Proven track record of successfully handling audits and supporting audit-related tasks.
