Overview
The Rebates and Drug Manufacturer Contracts Coordinator will provide day-to-day support of assigned pharmacy manufacturer rebate contracts and PBM activities to ensure that contract reviews, implementation, and maintenance meet internal and external deadlines. Duties will include assisting PBM managers with contract management, rebate reconciliation, coordinating Medicare requirements specific to pharmacy, coordination and maintenance of contract and rebate calendar, problem resolution, and other facets of activities and services necessary to meet the needs of the organization's internal and external customers. Key responsibilities will be to deliver efficient and timely support of the contract management process and rebate tracking and to serve as a liaison between PBM, the manager and external rebate data representatives on issues of rebate submissions and problem resolution.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
Three (3) years of contract management experience required. Health insurance experience preferred.
Strong administrative background with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheet creation, database management, and other productivity tools.
Demonstrate strong assessment abilities, high motivation, and exceptional communication skills.
Proficient organizational and time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
Proven examples of displaying the PBD values: Trusted Advisor, Innovative, Excellence, Guardianship, Dedication and Caring.
Essential Accountabilities
Support and assist in the operational and regulatory management of pharmacy rebates and contracts by coordinating and implementing the administrative aspects of meeting organizational, Medicare, vendor, financial, and rebate contractual compliance requirements.
Coordinate the tracking and analysis of specific rebate and contract performance measurements, including rebate contract status, data submissions, and financial outcomes.
Provide and maintain accurate and timely reporting and reconciliation specific to pharmacy rebate and contract specific to all lines of business as required by pharmacy management, finance, or legal counsel.
Assist members of pharmacy management with coordinating, maintaining and tracking department's adherence to Medicare reporting compliance requirements specific to pharmacy activities. Revise and format contract proposal documents and contract follow-up as directed by manager or legal counsel.
Assist with the validation, revision, maintenance and set-up of rebate contracts terms within the electronic pharmacy rebates processing system.
Resolve rebate data submission issues through problem solving and coordination with manager and internal or external data analysts; ensuring that satisfactory resolution of issues is achieved. This will include coordinating any follow-up actions with manager or Manufacturer Account Executive when necessary.
Maintain working knowledge of products and benefits for all lines of business, and how they may apply to or affect rebate contract performance.
Maintain all formulary changes quarterly in rebate software system to ensure accuracy of submissions to manufacturers.
Assist manager with special projects as required.

Hiring Compensation Range: $25.00 - $30.00 hourly
Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
