Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all of the journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, analyzing appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis, and preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.

Four to Six (4-6) years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience preferred.

Proficient in business software applications.

Working knowledge of windows based personal computers.

Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Current CPA preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $XX,XXX.00 to $XX,XXX.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
