Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Fri06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.

Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that could impact store operations, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.

Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or other assigned post duties while supporting a courteous and professional atmosphere at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
