As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Columbia, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving patrol officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Tue10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Fri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.

Assist with loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting unusual behavior, and supporting requested response actions in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
