SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for providing surgical assistance as well as pre and postoperative patient care including test interpretation and patient referral under the responsibility and supervision of the surgeon.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment.

Adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification

National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
