Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Technician to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Newport News, Virginia. This role is vital in supporting court-related cases and ensuring the efficient delivery of services to clients, legal staff, and judges. Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to Court Services staff, ensuring timely responses to legal professionals, including judges.

Manage filing systems, organize documents, and create forms to streamline processes.

Respond promptly to multiple requests while maintaining a sense of urgency and professionalism.

Perform accurate data entry and prepare essential documents, ensuring attention to detail.

Handle inbound calls, manage calendars, and coordinate scheduling to maintain operational efficiency.

Maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive documents and client information.

Assist with court-related filings and ensure all paperwork adheres to required standards.

Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating timelines and necessary steps to clients involved in court processes. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative roles, preferably within a legal or court-related setting.

Proven ability to manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings effectively.

Strong organizational skills with experience in filing, document creation, and data entry.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and legal staff.

Proficiency in responding to inbound calls and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Familiarity with court filing procedures is a plus.
