Entry-level data center tech, $20/hour

We are hiring Entry-Level Data Center Technicians who are motivated, dependable, and eager to build a long-term career in the data center industry.

This role is ideal for individuals with limited telecom experience but a proven background in physically demanding work such as construction, trades, warehouse operations, or military service. Success in this environment depends heavily on work ethic, attitude, and reliability, and candidates who take pride in showing up on time and working hard will thrive. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a mission-critical data center setting while learning from more experienced technicians.

Technicians will support a variety of installation and infrastructure tasks, including pulling and routing low-voltage cabling, assembling and stacking racks, drilling as needed, and scanning, labeling, and porting equipment. The role also involves assisting with general installation work and safely working on ladders and lifts. Ideal candidates are comfortable with manual labor, can follow directions, and are eager to learn new technical skills. Prior hands-on electrical experience or military experience is highly valued but not required.

This position is expected to be a long-term contract with strong potential for growth and future full-time opportunities as headcount becomes available. The pay rate is $20/hour, with the possibility of increased compensation for individuals who demonstrate leadership capability over time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the data center industry, develop technical expertise, and work toward future leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
