Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and processing, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient operations and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator- Entry Level

Location: Hopewell Junction, NY

Pay Range: $17.00/hr

Shift: First Shift - 6:00am to 2:45pm

What's the Job?

Operate, maintain, and monitor automated or manual equipment to sharpen, hone, and finish knives and blades to specified standards.

Set up machinery, load and unload workpieces, and perform quality control checks to ensure sharpness and precision.

Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and production protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Handle knives and blades, including scanning, inventory checking, and preparing items for sharpening.

Assist in cleaning and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.

What's Needed?

Experience in shipping/receiving, order picking, or industrial packing is preferred but not required.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.

Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

Basic understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.

Willingness to work Monday through Friday during first shift hours.
