As a Security Officer Hotel Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour

Tue11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Wed11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Fri11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Sat11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and entry procedures, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior according to site expectations.

Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
