Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to crafting trophies and plaques that celebrate achievements. As a warehouse worker, you will play an essential role in ensuring that items are accurately picked and prepared for delivery, contributing to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Review work orders carefully to identify and pick items effectively based on location and item number.

Use a pick order sheet to gather specific quantities, ensuring accuracy in the picking process.

Occasionally use the company computer to look up item locations or review orders.

Handle up to 100 orders daily during the busiest seasons, requiring stamina and efficiency.

Utilize ladders and a walk rider to access higher shelves safely and effectively.

Lift items weighing between 15-30 lbs consistently throughout the day.

Maintain attention to detail and reliability in all tasks to meet company standards.

Essential Skills

Ability to stand on feet all day in a fast-paced environment.

Basic warehouse or production experience is required.

Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Comfortable working at heights and receiving training for equipment operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with packing, inventory management, and order picking.

Familiarity with RF scanners, though primarily using pick order sheets.

Ability to thrive in an entry-level warehouse production role.

Work Environment

The warehouse is a large, non-climate controlled environment, similar in size to a Burlington Coat Factory. Employees should be prepared to spend their shifts on their feet, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
