Responsibilities This posting is for the Nurse Manager position in Outpatient Mental Health Services.The Nurse Manager will work in conjunction with the Outpatient Mental Health supervisors to plan, organize, and direct administrative, operational, patient, and personnel activities for staff. The incumbent will coordinate interdisciplinary staffing, work assignments, resource allocation, treatment services provided, and the management and implementation of various metrics such as Measurement-Based Care (MBC), Strategic Analytics for Improvement and Learning (SAIL), and suicide prevention initiatives. This position reports to the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) of Mental Health Services. The Nurse Manager(NM) will coordinate interdisciplinary staffing, work assignments, resource allocation, treatment services provided, and management/implementation of various metrics such as MBC, SAIL, and suicide prevention. Designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the 24/7 operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other NMs as needed. Qualifications Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE); OR Individuals attending a master's level bridge program in nursing who have completed coursework equivalent to a bachelor's level degree in Nursing may have opportunity to become registered as a nurse with a state licensing board prior to completion of the bridge program. Upon achievement of a State license, the individual may be appointed on temporary basis and later converted to a permanent appointment upon successful completion and graduation from the bridge program.
