Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products as well as production procedures. As a firm advocate of quality, your role will be crucial in maintaining our high standards and contributing to our long-term success by ensuring that our products are made of flawless materials and function well.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for products and supplies.

Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards and record supplier performance.

Select output samples and evaluate them using appropriate methods, such as measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and comparing to specifications.

Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.

Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics, such as the number of defective products per day.

Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Monitor equipment use to ensure it is safe and well-maintained, discarding any equipment that doesn't meet requirements.

Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.

Essential Skills

In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards.

Ability to read blueprints and instructions.

Familiarity with automated systems for testing.

Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

Skills in polishing and general production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
