As a Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role in Fresno, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and team members with directions, reports, and service-focused communication. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and support operations with teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Observe customer and associate activity for unusual or suspicious behavior and help to deter theft and/or property damage through high-visibility presence and timely reporting.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical situations and/or evacuations as directed by site procedures.

Document and report security-related incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and assist with access control and/or crowd flow during peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
