Summary You will serve as a DEPUTY DIRECTOR in the GLOBAL POSTURE DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will be responsible for coordinating the development and execution of service plans and policies related to the organization, deployment, and employment of Marine Corps forces in general. You will represent the Marine Corps at senior level meetings and working groups across the Department, the interagency and with governments, and with the Congressional Staff. You will maintain cognizance oversight of the Global Posture Division administrative actions and functions, physical security, and security management program. You will supervise the development and execution of the annual Global Posture Division budget. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, developing and managing global force posture or realignment initiatives; AND developing national level strategic guidance and policy such as National Defense Strategy (NDS), National Military Strategy (NMS) or Defense Planning Guidance. A well-qualified ICTAP applicant is one who possesses the competencies and experience to perform the duties of the position successfully with orientation to learn/understand the activities, procedures, policies and processes. Demonstrated work experience in the occupation is typically qualifying for placement. This criterion cannot be met by education and training. ICTAP candidates must provide copies of all of the following documentation at the time of application: 1) agency notice; 2) most recent performance appraisal and 3) most recent SF-50 or notification of personnel action that includes position, grade level, and duty location.
