Administrative Assistant - Variety-Filled Office Role

Schedule: 1st shift, flexible hours, 40 hours/week

Assignment Length: Temp through June

Our client in Alfred is urgently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily facility operations. This position pays $20.00/hr and is a temporary assignment through June , making it a great opportunity for someone looking for short-term work with consistent full-time hours and flexibility.

This is a clerical role with lots of variety , perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, wearing many hats, and supporting a facility manager with a wide range of projects. The flexible schedule and mix of administrative , creative , and customer-facing tasks make this role especially desirable.

Typical daily duties:

Excel-based data entry and reporting

Front-desk coverage including greeting visitors and customer service

Creating and updating posters, signage, and digital displays (Publisher/Canva)

Ordering office and facility supplies

Scheduling, setting up, and supporting conference rooms

Providing administrative support to the facility manager

Answering phones and emails, copying, and filing

What we're looking for:

Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Experience with data entry and customer service

Familiarity with Publisher or Canva preferred

Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods depending on the day

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
