Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Atlantis, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office by handling patient interactions, managing scheduling, and supporting daily administrative tasks. Your attention to detail will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage patient scheduling to optimize appointment times and clinic efficiency.

Greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and attentive front desk experience.

Facilitate the patient check-in process, verifying required documentation and updating records as necessary.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with a helpful and courteous attitude.

Maintain accurate patient information in the system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical standards.

Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Communicate effectively with medical staff to address patient needs and appointment changes.

Ensure the front office remains organized and operates smoothly throughout the day.

Provide guidance to patients regarding basic medical terminology and procedures when necessary.

Handle reception duties, including managing visitor flow and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Requirements - Previous experience in a medical front office or receptionist role is required.

Proficiency in patient scheduling and familiarity with medical office systems.

Strong understanding of basic medical terminology.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable working with computer systems and electronic medical records.

High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. TalentMatch®
