MT Transcend is a multi-year Global business transformation Program that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our current 40+ ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes, and enabling our integrated data strategy through SAP S/4 HANA. While EMEA has led the way, (for the Order-To-Cash deployment via a Global Template design approach), Norh America is now beginning its transformation journey using the foundations EMEA laid for more effective customer engagement and intimacy and more Supply Chain reliability.
It is critical that the Commercial, Supply Chain, Deliver and Finance communities maximize this opportunity and prepare in parallel to ensure that the S/4 HANA platform can be used in an integrated approach from day one of go-live.
You will bring a deep personal motivation to advance healthcare and Finance processes through Transformation. This motivation is backed by eager self-learning and experience in the Finance, Compliance & ERP fields, and their relevance to MedTech. You are keen to bravely push forward despite any ambiguity, resistance, and be a voice for change. As a key team member on this Program, you will be leading and influencing by example, helping others see what could be and making it happen together with the Program team and North America Business Unit deployment.
Role Summary
You will lead the Global Template Design for Revenue financial processes ensuring base business functional requirements are met.
You will ensure that all existing and newly defined Go to Market models are incorporated into Global Template Design
You will be a key player in the Finance Revenue Squad on Global Template and Localisation design
You will represent Finance as point of contact for Revenue in the E2E Process design
You will plan and roadmap the objectives of future capabilities to appropriate deployments
You will lead & participate in design workshops and fit gap discussions to shape the solutions
You will create & align Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and socialize with Functional Owners
You will closely partner with other Functional Leads to make cross-functional KDDs and other decisions
You will perform End to End assessment on feasibility of proposed changes
You will validate change impacts and communicate to functional teams (organizational, process, tech)
You will drive stakeholder alignment
You will coordinate SMA (Subject Matter Advisory) network
You will review/ approve design planning outputs and prioritization
You will provide input into readiness plans for the function, including deployment tasks
Major Duties & Responsibilities - High-Level
Act as the key Finance Revenue process owner globally and ensure standardized and efficient design of all Finance requirements. Actively engage with wider Program team and other Finance Organisations to ensure consistency of Global Template within overall Finance Roadmap.
Ensure Revenue Global Template design is transformational, robust & compliant.
Proactive participation in Solution Confirmation including design localisation, understanding, interpreting and cascading of the Global Template ensuring all Finance localisation requirements, (statutory, legal etc), are documented and brought to life via design, testing, deployment and hyper-care.
Bridge from Finance Processes to the Program during critical phases of solution confirmation, Global design, business adoption, go-live and hyper-care supporting through the first month-end / quarter-end closes.
Develop, maintain and evolve understanding of Global Finance priorities to ensure alignment and standardization
May be requested to assist with other areas within the Transcend Finance remit

Internal - Transcend Finance Team - incl Finance PO (our SAP Product Owner), Finance BPO (Business Process Owner), Finance PMO & Deployment Team. Wider Transcend Program & Transcend Tax team. Finance peers including GS, FP&A, GA&A, Global Technical & Advisory, SigniFi Transact peers. JJT Partners.
External - Finance Base Business (including Commercial, Supply Chain, Make & GS), Accenture and Vertex, (the Indirect Tax Solution)

A minimum of a university degree or professional qualification
5 years' MedTech experience within a BUF / FP&A role or SC Finance
Commercial Finance Business Unit experience in North America on Revenue processes - preferably across Surgery and/or EP Neuro Business Units
A solid understanding of MedTech Supply Chain, Deliver and Commercial Operations
Proven hands-on project delivery preferred
Technology focus or experience in implementing / supporting technology projects
Good knowledge of J&J systems with SAP knowledge is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with validated ability to influence/collaborate to get desired results
Financial and factual analytical abilities including data & fact patterns
Strong written work
Excellent business partnering and communication skills - specifically the ability to communicate highly technical matters to non-specialist business partners.
Strong influencing and collaboration skills
E2E process thinking with an ability to connect the dots and understand the "So What?" (e.g. from Logistics through to financial results), incl Revenue Recognition & Inventory
Ability to anticipate implications and change-impacts while sharing these with your Business Unit

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Independent and highly productive manager, capable of owning and progressing projects/processes independently whilst keeping teams informed of progress and recognizing sensitive areas/decision points which require management input.
Ability to switch priorities quickly and expedite key tasks to meet business needs & manage risk in a fast-changing external environment.
Understanding of J&J financials, supply chains and pricing principles.
Deep technical Finance knowledge.
While People Management experience is not critical, must have the ability to influence and lead people in a complex environment who are not necessarily your direct reports
Excellent communication & business partnering skills including;
Ability to communicate with people at all management levels incl locally, within NA and Globally
Ability to analyse data ensuring that it makes business sense
Computer literate, experience with ERP systems and Microsoft packages
Strong influencing skills
Experience with corporate accounting systems (e.g. BtB, USROTC, SAP) and proficient spreadsheet skills
Able to forge robust working relationships with all key business partners and interdependent programs.
Developing and delivering program presentations for senior-level MD stakeholders.
Able to understand and implement in line with project timeline with detailed plans, and tactical measures to ensure all key deliverables are aligned to the program methodology, resourced, and monitored.
Able to identify, manage, and mitigate risks.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
