About the Role:

The Warehouse position plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our wholesale trade business in Port Clinton, Ohio. This role is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and maintained. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall productivity of the team by ensuring that products are stored, picked, and shipped in a timely manner. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize errors and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, this position supports the company's commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers by ensuring that their orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This is a seasonal position.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification.

Experience with inventory management systems.

Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Organize and store products in designated areas of the warehouse.

Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain inventory records and assist with regular stock counts.

Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include physical stamina and attention to detail, which are essential for efficiently handling and organizing inventory. Candidates will utilize their organizational skills to ensure that products are stored correctly and can be easily accessed when needed. Communication skills are also important, as team members must coordinate effectively to meet shipping deadlines. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with inventory management systems, will enhance the candidate's ability to track stock levels and streamline operations. Overall, a combination of physical and technical skills will contribute to the success of the warehouse team and the satisfaction of our customers.
