This function is critical to fulfilling our purpose to our policyholders and to managing risk and financial results over the life of the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leadannuityfinancials Lead analysis and explanation of key financial metrics for IndividualAnnuityquarterly and annual statements Evaluate actual-to-expected experience on IndividualAnnuityinterest, expense, and other margins Collaborate with ValuationandModelingcentralized functions, andFinancial Planning and Analysis functionto support transparent, accurate, and unified financial calculations and reporting Collaborate withAnnuityValuation and Product Developmentteamson the development and implementation of actuarial assumptions and inforce management decisions LeadAnnuityresults forour financial forecasting and goal setting cycle (Goals and Plans) Lead the development ofannuityfinancial projections and supporting narratives for the annual Goals and Plans efforts, delivering results through others Provide sensitivities, projections, and other analysis to identify drivers of results and understand emergence of financials under different scenarios SupportAnnuitystrategic objectives Serve as subject matter expert on enterprise initiatives requiring individualannuityexpertise Communicate emerging trends to stakeholders and provide recommendations to drive results Support ad hoc analysis forthe Board, Executive Leadership,rating agencies, and other stakeholders Collaborate with Product Development and other stakeholders on the monitoring and management supporting financial targets Qualifications: Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation (FSA) or equivalent credentials or experience 5+ years ofannuityindustry experience in finance, valuation, modeling, and/or product development Experience with financial statements and/orthe regulatory environment governingannuityproducts Ability to balance analytical rigor with practical executionand strategic thinkingto meet evolving business demands. Proven track recordofanalysis andcritical thinking skills Effective prioritization, project managementand maximization of resourcesskills, including theincluding leading cross-functional teams and external consultants, to solve high-impact problems. Communication skills, both verbal and written,to effectivelyexplainconceptstoboth finance and non-finance personnel Proven ability to develop, maintain, and leverage relationshipsto effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders #LI-hybrid This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement.
