Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across diverse client engagements while benefiting from stable employment. Responsibilities:

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data.

Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.

Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash flow management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting needs.

Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain complex financial models. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience in a detail-oriented setting.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, such as pivot tables and formulas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with accounting systems and software.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

CPA certification or similar credentials are preferred but not required.
