As a Security Officer - Warehouse in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location where you will manage access control, greet team members and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and track entries using site systems. You will remain a visible presence at key checkpoints, communicate clearly, and help to deter security-related incidents through consistent procedures and quick reporting. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing visitors and contractors to approved destinations.

Monitor access control systems, cameras, and intrusion alarms, and report unusual activity and/or equipment issues according to site procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and/or disruptive behavior, and assist with notifications and documentation.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter policy violations and identify hazards, damaged property, and/or unsecured doors.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
