As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-impact aerospace and defense location as an Armed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control needs. Working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, you will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and integrity-driven reporting on every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal post orders, applicable laws, and site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including incident documentation and timely notification to site leadership and/or public authorities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Control access by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and vehicle entry, and coordinating with on-site personnel for deliveries, contractors, and restricted area entry.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
