In this key role, you will help strengthen the integrity and effectiveness of our investigative operations by preparing reports, organizing case documentation, maintaining critical records, and supporting compliance efforts. Your work ensures accuracy, accountability, and seamless coordination within a unit that plays a vital role in upholding safety, transparency, and agency standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Prepare reports, memoranda, directives, and other administrative documents by compiling, organizing, and editing data from multiple sources. Ensure all materials meet agency standards and support compliance with departmental requirements.
Respond to inquiries verbally and in writing, providing clear explanations of policies, procedures, and administrative decisions.
Maintain organized files and records related to compliance, investigations, and administrative functions. Conduct audits, manage correspondence, and maintain multiple databases to support unit operations.
Perform video management duties, including updating and replacing recordings, maintaining logbooks, labeling evidence, and ensuring proper retention and destruction of video materials.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, screen and route telephone calls, and participate in staff conferences and inter-agency meetings. Operate standard office equipment and prepare purchase orders, supply requests, and procurement documentation.
Support unit operations by tracking goals, setting priorities, and assisting with planning and strategy development.
Assign tasks to clerical staff, provide guidance and assistance, conduct performance planning sessions, and keep supervisors informed of staff performance concerns.
Accurately compute employee work hours and update master timesheets.
Train clerical staff and provide ongoing support with case typing, documentation, and procedural questions.
Perform other related duties as needed to ensure efficient and effective operation of the section.
