Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will learn and utilize our company's in-house accounting/ERP system to manage billing and accounting-related tasks. You will be responsible for performing customer billing and invoicing, operating and reconciling a cash register, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Learn and utilize the company's in-house accounting/ERP system for billing and accounting duties.

Perform customer billing and invoicing tasks accurately and efficiently.

Operate and reconcile a cash register, including handling daily cash transactions.

Close out and balance the register at the end of each day.

Reconcile credit card payments and ensure accuracy.

Communicate effectively with contractors and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships.

Provide friendly and professional customer service by responding to inquiries and answering billing questions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Experience in cash handling and payment processing.

Familiarity with accounts receivable, invoicing, and billing processes.

Strong reconciliation skills, including credit card reconciliation.

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Experience with ERP and accounting software.

Excellent data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma required.

1+ year of transferable experience in roles such as cashier, receptionist, administrative support, or accounting support.

Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.

Ability to quickly learn new software systems.

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.

Work Environment

The position is onsite in Hialeah, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $21.63/hr.
