The Apple Cloud Networking team constructs software-defined network infrastructure as an integral component of Apple Cloud. Our infrastructure serves as a pivotal foundation for delivering Apple's services, including iCloud, iTunes, Siri, and Maps, to a global customer base of billions. We are a dynamic and collaborative organization where drive and teamwork are essential for success. Teams across Apple rely on our infrastructure to build scalable, highly available, and reliable services that operate seamlessly. As a member of the Apple Cloud Network team, you will contribute to the development and operationalization of cutting-edge products and solutions that will shape the future of our highly scalable network infrastructure.

Description

We're looking for passionate folks who love building super-scalable, reliable, and user-friendly systems to support one of the world's biggest cloud infrastructures. You'll be designing, building, and running new services that help lead virtualized networks, computing, and storage. Working at our global scale brings some unique and tough challenges that require us to come up with radical innovations. These services are built using skills from different areas, like distributed systems, user experience, and modular and resilient programming. If you're excited about innovating and building systems from scratch for the massive scale of our infrastructure, then our team might be the perfect place for you!

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, C++, Go, scripting languages, Git, and configuration management systems.

Architectural Expertise: Experience in building scalable services, architectural design, data structures, algorithms, microservice architectures, and APIs.

Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, deliver on bold deadlines, and drive closures, and the ability to prioritize and debug production issues.

Preferred Qualifications

BS and MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science
