Job Summary

The Administrative Services Assistant 2 (Field Clerk) provides high-level administrative and confidential support to the Wenatchee District Operations & Maintenance Manager and a field-based team of approximately 20 employees. This role serves as a key liaison between managers, staff, and support organizations, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and compliance with administrative, personnel, and information governance requirements. The position also provides backup support to other Field Clerks and contributes to standardizing and improving administrative processes across the organization.

Key Functions

Responsibilities include complex calendar and meeting coordination; preparation, review, and tracking of correspondence, reports, and action items; SharePoint site administration; records and information management; time and attendance coordination; training and performance documentation tracking; travel planning and expense processing; P-Card reconciliation; security badging and emergency plan support; and cross-functional coordination with HR, IT, Security, Facilities, and other service teams. The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of administrative experience, with 4+ years using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intermediate to advanced experience with SharePoint or similar systems. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Education & Corresponding Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration/Management, Business Administration/Management, or a related field is preferred.

6 years of demonstrated administrative/clerical experience is required.

4 or more years of relevant work experience in administrative support functions with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Intermediate to advanced skills/experience with SharePoint or a similar system sufficient to:

Support, manage, edit and maintain site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
