Summary You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Production Trades Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will participate in the preventive maintenance planning, development, coordinate, improvement, and implementation of procedures governing preventive maintenance of Ground Support Equipment. You will analyze and review a variety of standard management reports such as aircraft schedules and material lists to develop a provisioning plan that supports operations. You will conduct meetings and briefing to discuss problems and arrive at agreement in solutions or to inform or to make recommendations to management. You will coordinate with management and operating personnel in determining and taking necessary action to prevent a recurrence of Ground Support Equipment. You will coordinate and manage the Calibration Program for the assigned Integrated Product Team. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Knowledge of FRCSW safety regulations and procedures. 2.) Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to provide management advisory services in assigned functions; and ability to prepare written reports and other communications to accomplish the work. 3.) A comprehensive knowledge of FRCSW's mission, organization, structure, shop locations, production processes, workload programs and channels of communications. 4.) Ability to exercise independent judgement, resourcefulness, persuasion, tact and to deal successfully with a variety of people on various matters.
