Office of Workers' Compensation
The Louisiana Works is seeking an Accounting Technician to join the Office of Workers' Compensation. The Office of Workers' Compensation Administration (OWCA) in Louisiana oversees the enforcement and administration of workers' compensation laws, aiming to support early return-to-work efforts and improve workplace safety. Additionally, OWCA conducts financial audits and ensures compliance among self-insured employers and insurance carriers. OWCA does not process individual workers' compensation claims or issue benefit payments. They also do not help injured workers with the claims management.
