Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to provide a broad range of duties within the corporate law division. We are looking for an individual who can work independently but collaboratively in a fast-paced and collegial team environment.

Responsibilities will include

Review incoming federal criminal subpoenas, search warrants and court orders

Create files, track and distribute new files to paralegals

Input and review for accuracy information into a centralized database

Monitor shared team Outlook inboxes and respond appropriately

Use a variety of software packages for word processing, maintaining spreadsheets, conducting research, etc.

Provide a variety of administrative support functions as assigned

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Typically five or more years of experience in administrative and support staff activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, and preparation of documents and input of data accurately. This includes the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

Time Management : Ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines.

Proactive Problem-Solving : The ability to identify issues, escalate priority situations, think critically, and find effective solutions is crucial, especially when managing complex tasks or dealing with unexpected challenges.

Adaptability : The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments is valuable, especially in a dynamic environment that involves working on various projects.

Interpersonal Skills : Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams is important.

Discretion and Confidentiality : Handling sensitive information with discretion is critical.

Customer Service Orientation : A focus on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency : Strong proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), AI, and other business tools. Effective use of technology platforms to solve problems, communicate, manage projects and adapt to new technologies.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21
