Job Summary
As the Information Technology AV and Special Projects Staff (IT Operations Coordinator III/IV) you will l
ead IT operations as one of the primary coordinators for Enterprise Services Integration and specialized AV/special projects. You will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for comprehensive IT operations across classified and unclassified environments, managing daily operations, providing hands-on technical support, and coordinating between stakeholders, customers, and internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how we deliver IT services.

What
Operational Leadership & Coordination
Coordinate site maintenance schedules, perform system upgrades, and handle daily operational tasks
Manage reactive (incident-driven) and proactive (preventative) IT processes including emergency responses, system health checks, and patch management
Maintain local CCF/IDF communications closets, track IT inventory, and oversee Xerox print fleet operations
Coordinate annual DRP refresh activities by reconciling inventory with ServiceNow CMDB
Technical Support & Project Management
Provide hands-on technical support and serve as escalation point for complex IT challenges
Monitor ticket estate using ServiceNow, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of incidents
Use Jira to track projects including new IT services and infrastructure upgrades
Gather requirements, plan and support IT projects, and complex corporate events
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Planning
Interact with program support and executive personnel to understand unique site needs and identify audio visual, conferencing, and special project requirements
Work closely with Aerospace IT leadership, program leadership, and domain experts to solution and support needs with techniques and tools compatible with Aerospace's enterprise architecture
Liaison among Facilities, Security, Corporate Communications, and Enterprise Services teams
Collaborate with event planners to ensure IT systems support scheduled events
Team & Vendor Management
Oversee contracted IT resources by communicating priorities and assigning tickets/tasks for completion
Monitor contractor performance to ensure service requirements are met or exceeded
Service Excellence
Ensure high-quality, reliable, long-term support for implemented solutions
Manage customer experience and expectations through evaluation of feedback, efficient practices, and continuous improvement of services
Review processes to increase efficiency and ensure compliance with internal standards and security requirements
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum
Information Technology AV and Special Projects Staff (IT Operations Coordinator III)
Minimum (5) years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure management, or related technical operations is required
Proven track record of eliciting stakeholder requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions
Demonstrated proficiency with IT service management (ITSM) tools and frameworks such as ServiceNow, ITIL, or similar platforms
Strong commitment to service excellence with a customer-centric approach to user experience and operational delivery
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels
This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship isrequiredto obtain a security clearance
In addition to the above, the
Minimum (7) years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure management, or enterprise technology operations is required
Proven leadership experience managing IT operations teams, technical staff, or cross-functional technology initiatives
Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow and Jira with demonstrated success independently managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion
Self-directed professional capable of operating autonomously, leading high-performing teams, driving strategic initiatives, and championing organizational process improvements
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) environments, security protocols, and contractor operations
Background supporting IT operations in classified or secure environments with appropriate clearance handling
Broad technical expertise across multiple infrastructure domains including desktops, servers, storage, networks, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems
Proven track record managing or leading IT support teams serving diverse, multi-level customer populations
Proficiency with ServiceNow or comparable IT service management (ITSM) platforms
Skilled in vendor management, contractor oversight, and performance evaluation
ITIL certification or demonstrated knowledge of IT service management best practices and frameworks
Customer-centric approach with ability to shape user experience through feedback analysis, process optimization, and continuous service improvement initiatives
