Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONICS INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the WEAPONS REPAIR DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities Apply knowledge of a wide range of advanced electronics theory principles and practices on the various ships and submarines worked on by the WRD Production Shop(s). You will maintain complex integrated systems that have frequent engineering changes such as design, construction, operating and servicing procedures. You will research plans, drawings, sketches, technical manuals, factory specifications, and other publications to assure that equipment meets operational specifications. You will perform system/subsystem corrective and preventive maintenance as specified by the equipment manufacturer, technical instructions, and maintenance requirement procedures. You will evaluate maintenance and diagnostic results and recommend appropriate corrective/preventive maintenance action required. You will use hand and power tools to disassemble equipment, as necessary, to inspect, repair, or replace components. You will install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair greater complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Mast and Antenna Sail Systems.
