Summary:
LFS is seeking a Production Supervisor
to work alongside the Division Manager performing daily tasks and supervising the operations of the NMC gillnet production staff.

Reports to Naknek Division Manager
Work in Naknek approximately 04/15-09/15.
Oversee net hangers and production in Naknek Division.
Work with Division Manager to create and maintain a production schedule.
Distribute workload.
Prepare pay sheets for payroll.
Add all hanging notes to sales orders for invoicing customers.
Work with yard employees and canneries for pick up and delivery of nets.
Record nets in and out of facility.
Collaborate with customers on net orders.
Ability to write up sales orders and basic excel and POS skills.
Inventory control and distribution of net materials; web, twine, corks, lead line, cork line, net bags, tape, and knives.
Be knowledgeable about different net manufacturers, line products, and various components and be able to communicate that knowledge to customers and other net hangers.
Be available for questions, logistics or hanging in the off-season Oct-Mar.
Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
3-5 years supervising production line.
Preferred education and experience
5-10 as commercial gillnet hanger
Work environment:
Fast, loud, busy. Retail sales floor, warehouse, production area, office, kitchen, boat yard.
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and use a keyboard and telephone.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The employee is required to talk or listen.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
