Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Technician (up to $39/hour)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for high-precision electromechanical assembly and rework, guided by engineering directions. You will handle PCBA with care, utilizing ESD-safe practices to ensure the integrity of components. Your role will involve performing torqueing, soldering, and mechanical integration according to specifications. You will conduct surface inspections and maintain detailed documentation, interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build instructions, and support proto@type builds and iterative engineering changes.

Responsibilities

Conduct high-precision electromechanical assembly and rework following engineering direction.

Handle PCBA with care, adhering to ESD-safe practices.

Perform torqueing, soldering, and mechanical integration according to specifications.

Conduct surface inspections and maintain detailed documentation.

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build instructions.

Support proto@type builds and iterative engineering changes.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and electronics systems.

Expertise in soldering techniques.

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Certification in IPC-A-620 for Cable & Wire Harness Assembly.

Certification in J-STD-001 for Soldering Standards.

Knowledge of NASA Workmanship Standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hr.
