Compensation: $50.00 per hour
Shift: 1st - Contract Position for at least 6 months

What's a typical day as Paralegal/Legal Assistant? You'll be:
Providing direct support to the Legal Department in corporate registrations, entity governance, contract coordination, legal billing, and matter management.
Preparing and filing annual state registrations, business licenses, and other required state/local filings for U.S. and Canada.
Managing the registered agent system and tracking filing deadlines to ensure compliance.
Drafting, editing, and maintaining standard legal forms and agreements under attorney direction.
Reviewing and approving NDAs, assisting with document organization and e-signature workflows.
Managing the legal billing process, including invoice review, matter management, accrual tracking, and vendor coordination.
Generating reports and analytics related to legal spend and vendor performance.
Maintaining confidentiality and data integrity for all legal materials and supporting special projects and process improvements.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have an Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience (Required).
Bring at least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm.
Have experience with legal billing and e-billing systems.
Possess a strong understanding of corporate compliance requirements and multi-state filings.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable with databases and document management systems.
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Experience with U.S. and Canada corporate governance, supporting corporate secretarial functions, and familiarity with regulatory environments in manufacturing or chemical industries.
Show high attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and strong problem-solving abilities.
