Freight Audit and Finance Analyst

Kelly is seeking a Freight Audit and Finance Analyst to work with our client, a leader in the biotech industry, on a temporary basis for about 22 weeks at their Sunnyvale campus to cover for a parental leave. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the organization's Global Logistics team.

The Freight Audit and Finance Analyst will:

Review payment and invoice questions from carriers, auditing freight invoices against quoted rates and maintaining a database to log all invoice details

Prepare month-end accrual report

Work with freight carriers directly to resolve any invoicing errors

Communicate invoice approvals and proper coding to AP for processing and payment

Manage blanket purchase orders to freight vendors to ensure sufficient funds to cover invoices, submit new purchase requests in SAP as needed

Review aging reports from freight vendors to ensure all invoices have been received and accounts are current

Track multiple KPIs related to the 3rd party freight audit/payment partner to monitor their performance and escalate any issue to management as needed

Obtain freight quotes from logistics vendors and maintain a database of all quotes provided

Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role/environment

Previous experience auditing freight invoices preferred

Previous SAP experience preferred

Superb organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of typical freight quote structure and understanding of rates, surcharges, etc.

Intermediate to advanced MS Word and Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, summary reports, etc.)

Knowledgeable of U.S. export regulations and familiar with export documentation
