Due to an upcoming retirement, Burke Public Schools is seeking a diligent and organized Business Manager to join our team. This full-time, year-round position plays a key role in the districts financial operations and in maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Assist the Superintendent in key administrative functions, including budgeting, accounting, and financial oversight. Manage the school lunch program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and operational efficiency. Oversee student enrollment processes and maintain accurate records. Coordinate and submit required reports to the South Dakota Department of Education and manage compliance and reporting for federal grants. Ensure all district operations adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws and policies.

Education and experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field preferred. Candidates should have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Prior school finance or public sector experience preferred.
