Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS. Responsibilities You will coordinate, plan, and execute administrative missions and operations. You will provide administrative management services essential to the direction and operation of the executive staff, including all policy matters involving administrative support, manpower, training and personnel activities. You will review, process, and track incoming correspondence and other tasks/projects. You will be responsible for managing the office supplies for the entire N97 Directorate. You will make travel arrangements based on general travel intentions, known preferences of traveler and in accordance with appropriate travel regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Conducting security management work including clearing personnel, handling and storage of classified materials, proper destruction and adhering to all classification procedures, to include certification of spaces; Providing administrative functions such as adhering to correspondence manual, logging correspondence, storage/record-keeping, and all administrative processes in government service; Providing direct support of executive staff, coordinating with other front office staffs, and important visitor coordination; Acquiring office supplies, processing travel, and other budget execution items with limited supervision. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
