As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with calm, clear communication. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, bringing a caring, people-first approach while acting with integrity and partnering closely with site stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific policies, access control requirements, and security-related procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines, monitoring for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations that may help to deter unauthorized access.

Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other detection systems, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with site contacts and public responders as needed.

Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in logs and reports, complete required check-ins, and communicate status updates to supervision in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
