Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The role involves supporting a busy medical practice with a variety of administrative tasks essential to its daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, welcoming patients and visitors professionally and courteously.

Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information.

Manage patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are efficiently organized and updated.

Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records in electronic health and practice management systems.

Verify insurance information and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.

Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Allscripts, to manage patient data effectively.

Support the practice with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations by signing a confidentiality agreement.

Collaborate with team members to provide coverage as needed and adapt to varying workloads.

Uphold a strong commitment to patient care and customer service in all interactions. Requirements - Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within a medical office environment.

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with Allscripts is highly desirable.

Proficiency in office productivity tools, including Excel.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy, dynamic environment.

Customer-service oriented mindset with a focus on patient care.
