Position Summary

The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for :

Managing the daily operations and functions of the assigned units within the department.

Planning and organizing departmental meetings and training sessions.

May be responsible for maintaining the department director's calendar.

Assists in the development of administrative departmental operating policies.

May coordinate and plan special events and activities.

Serves as department liaison for customers and responds to inquiries and general information requests.

Prepares and composes special project reports, correspondence of a confidential and complex nature, letters, memoranda, and other documents.

Composes routine correspondence, @types, formats, and proofreads memos, letters, forms, manuscripts, and grant proposals.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Associate's Degree; In lieu of educational requirements, experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Experience:

2-4 years of related experience. Must @type 50 WPM . Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Immunization Requirements

It is MSM's Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are encouraged to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate's offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
