Job Title: Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance Technician Job Openings - 1st or 3rd shift - $30 to $40 an hour

Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical systems. You will work with components such as rollers, bearings, seals, air lines, hydraulic lines, belts, conveyors, sensors, switches, light curtains, and safety circuits. Additionally, you will assist with PLC, drives, and other control replacements, perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, and log all activities in the Maintenance CMMS system.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including rollers, bearings, seals, air lines, hydraulic lines, belts, and conveyors.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including sensors, switches, light curtains, and safety circuits.

Assist with PLC, drives, and other control replacements.

Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, including cleaning and replacing pumps, filters, and belts.

Log all maintenance activities in the Maintenance CMMS system.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting.

Proficiency in troubleshooting 24V-480V systems in industrial production machines.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Skill in troubleshooting mechanical components and hydraulic systems.

Possession of a basic hand tool set.

Experience in pneumatics.

Welding skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Nice to have pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have PLC troubleshooting experience with laptops.

Nice to have welding experience for custom fabrication needs.

Nice to have direct experience with corrugated manufacturing machinery.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, with a team of 300 employees at this site. Maintenance technicians will engage in standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting. The shift schedule includes days from 6 AM to 6 PM and nights from 6 PM to 6 AM, with a rotating pattern of days on and off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trotwood, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
